Sarah Anderson

Sarah Anderson is the Associate Director of Criminal Justice & Civil Liberties at the R Street Institute. Her professional passions lie in ensuring that the pursuit of limited, effective government and the preservation of individual freedom does not end where political or personal inconvenience may begin. Sarah graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2017, where she fostered her overarching skepticism of government as the best actor to solve issues in society and preference for empowering individuals and private entities to flourish. Prior to joining R Street in 2021, Sarah served as the Director of Policy at FreedomWorks.
