Akhila K Jayaram

Akhila is a Biophysics PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge. Her initial interest in health policy led her to contribute to global health policy briefs for Public Health England and Cambridge Development Initiative, which culminated in her serving a two-year term as Executive Director of a youth-led global health think-tank. She then stepped into UK grassroots politics, having held committee positions in Conservative Women’s Organisation. She is training to be a commercial lawyer in the next few years, with an aim to specialise in international arbitration and public international law.
