Director of Programs
Emma Ayers is a writer, reporter and editor from Northeast Tennessee. She graduated from Lee University with her degree in Digital Media Journalism and is an alumnus of the National Journalism Center in Reston, VA.
Along with a team of editors, Emma helps young writers learn the art of commentary — crafting compelling arguments and condensing complicated policy ideas into something enjoyable that anyone can understand. Currently, Emma is based out of Washington D.C., where she divides her free time among activities like frantically trying to find the nearest metro station, reading Kurt Vonnegut, and attending an outrageous number of concerts.
