About Barrett Gay
Barrett Gay was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in mass communications and a double minor in English and Philosophy. During her sophomore year, she gained editing experience by editing a novel written by best-selling author Ace Collins. Her senior year, she worked as Editor-In-Chief of Ouachita’s weekly newspaper, The Signal. After graduating in 2017, Barrett worked for about a year as a features writer for Inviting Arkansas, a local lifestyle magazine. Following that, she worked at local news station and CBS affiliate THV11 as Content Manager. In her spare time, Barrett enjoys going to movies + concerts with friends, spending time outdoors in the Natural State and playing her piano + ukulele.
