Xin Yuan Quek is a Singaporean economic policy researcher and writer. She moved to Sydney when she was 17, where she graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Economics degree. She is currently an independent researcher and an economist in the public sector.

Quek has written about economic policies for publications such as The Daily Telegraph and The Spectator Australia, and has received interviews from local media outlets. In her spare time, you can find her mass-downloading scientific journals and never reading them or obsessing over a good jazz piece.
