Scott Cresswell is a journalist and commentator on current affairs and political history, writing for a wide variety of outlets. He attended Middlesex University after studying at several state schools. He has produced political commentary for Perspectives, Backbench, and most notably Tides of History. His key areas of expertise include political history since 1832, prime ministers, and general elections. Writer Steve Richards described Cresswell’s skill of contextualising political events with history and clarity as “a rare gift.” In his spare time, Cresswell peruses book shops and is an avid reviewer of graphic novels. He lives in Hertfordshire.
