BIO

Rachel Chiu is an Associate Contributor and Technology Fellow for Young Voices. She researches technology policy for a DC-based think tank and previously served as the Head of Policy for #MovingForward, a nonprofit dedicated to reforming anti-harassment and discrimination policies for venture capitalist firms around the world. She graduated with high honors from Cornell University. Rachel writes about employment, technology, and education, largely through the lenses of civil liberties and human rights. Her interest in public policy stems from her family’s challenging experiences in China and Venezuela.

Her work has been published in USA Today, The Hill, Techdirt, The American Conservative, RealClearPolicy, The Washington Times, Orange County Register, and elsewhere. She has spoken on Fox News, Consumer Choice Radio, and AM560 The Answer.
