Jacob Bruggeman is an Ohio-born graduate student in economic and social history at the University of Cambridge who writes about American arts & culture, cities, higher education, and policy issues in the Midwest. His work has been published in USA Today, the Des Moines Register, Washington Examiner, Cincinnati Enquirer, Columbus Dispatch, Daily Advertiser, Florida Today, RealClearPolicy, The American Conservative, among other outlets.
Additionally, he’s the History Editor of the Cleveland Review of Books and books editor of The Metropole. Previously, he was a Writing Fellow with America’s Future Foundation and a Collegiate Network intern at USA Today.
