Daniel was born and raised in Venezuela, where he experienced firsthand life under the Maduro regime. In 2016, Daniel was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where he is currently a junior majoring in Quantitative Economics. During his two years in college, Daniel has worked part-time at the Office of International Affairs, presided his residential council, and founded the Model United Nations student group.
