Daniel was born and raised in Venezuela, where he went to high school and experienced firsthand the consequences of their socialist regime. In 2016, Daniel was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where he is currently a junior majoring in Quantitative Economics. During his two years in college, Daniel has worked part-time at the Office of International Affairs, presided his residential council, and founded the Model United Nations student group. He is currently an intern at Economic Policies for the 21st century, part of the Manhattan Institute.
