Charles Brandt just finished his first year of law school at the George Washington University, where he enrolled after receiving his bachelors in economics, cum laude, from the University of Maryland, minoring in Spanish and statistics. His undergraduate studies culminated in a research internship at the Brookings Institution and an award-winning honors thesis concerning the determinants of same-sex couples’ locational decisions. A member of GW Law’s Federalist Society Executive Board, Charles is passionate about the U.S. Constitution, federalism, separation of powers, and originalism.
