Cassandra Shand is a current Ph.D. in Engineering candidate at the University of Cambridge where she is researching innovation strategy.  After graduating summa cum laude from UCLA two years early (Political Science, History), Cassandra earned Master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge (Politics and International Studies) and the University of Chicago (Public Policy). She is also a Law and Policy Fellow at the Cicero Institute and an inaugural UATX Polaris Fellow. When she is not talking about innovation or policy, you can find her sailing or hiking!
