Calum is a trainee lawyer and has been a writer for more than 10 years, including authoring a book called 2020 As It Happened on the events of the Coronavirus pandemic. Calum is also a director of The Speaker, a political media outlet which provides political educational resources to schools across the UK.

Calum graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in History & Politics and has since completed an MA in Law at the University of Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP, ahead of commencing a training contract with a UK top 10 law firm.
