Today is Giving Tuesday, which means that your inbox is probably flooded with emails from lots of great causes asking for a contribution. I’ll be honest: this is another ask. So, let’s cut to the chase. Here’s three reasons to consider supporting Young Voices —

REASON #1: We are helping drive the conversation.
From the New York Times to the Washington Post, the media are responding to Young Voices articles. We’re helping change the conversation from collectivism to liberty by presenting a youthful face to old media giants.

REASON #2: We punch above our weight.
Young Voices’ annual budget is only $250k — fairly modest in the nonprofit world. Yet, operating with limited resources, Young Voices’ network of 60+ writers has published 208 op-eds and made 32 TV/radio appearances over the past six months. That’s an average of two media hits per weekday!

REASON #3: We’re making an impact on young professionals’ careers.
Young Voices has a network of 200 alumni — young professionals who we’ve helped with media training, op-ed placement, and TV/radio appearances. Many of these individuals have moved on to make impressive careers as policy analysts, executive directors, and even professors. Here’s just one endorsement from Jason Russell, a Young Voices alumnus who now manages the Washington Examiner‘s opinion section:

“Young Voices was essential in kickstarting my journalism career. From developing my writing skills to the extra exposure, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of Young Voices. As the program grows, I’m impressed by what Young Voices advocates are doing to spread liberty in the U.S. and around the world.”

Your contribution on Giving Tuesday can help Young Voices impact more young writers’ future like Jason’s. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help Young Voices make liberty mainstream.
